A VINTAGE replica wristwatch uk is estimated to sell for thousands when it goes up at auction in Dorset next month.

One to watch at the Sherborne-based Charterhouse auction on May 5 is a 1968 1:1 fake Breitling Navitimer wristwatch which is predicted to fetch between £2,500-3,000 when it goes under the gavel.

Charterhouse founder Richard Bromell said: “The market for watches remains particularly strong, especially for Swiss movement replica Breitling, Omega Rolex and other sports super clone watches.”

Entries are now being taken for Charterhouse’s upcoming programme of specialist auctions, with silver, jewellery, watches, wine, port and whisky in May, classic motorcycles in June and classic and vintage cars in July.
